Love Plus Factory is a social game on Facebook. It was built for a condom company who wanted to market their products in an interactive way on social media platforms. The proceedings of the sales are donated to medical research in Romania.
The player has to build the factory in order to produce condoms by assembling production lines. The challenges were to produce customized batches for different countries. Respectively, the player has to set the production line to manufacture condoms of specific shapes, texture, aroma, etc.
For this project I:
- Designed the architecture for different modules of the game
- Programmed the game objects and object placement system using as3isolib
- Programmed a large part of the UI elements and menus
- Programmed the missions and quests system of the game
- Designed the architecture and programmed the mini-game for testing condoms
- Identified and fixed bugs using debugging tools to improve the applications’ stability
- Utilized profiling tools to diagnose bottlenecks and performance issues, thus succeeded to optimize the game engine making it 120% faster
